Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer

Reports to: Senior Director, Engineering
Location: Preferred candidates are DC Metro, Raleigh, NC or East Coast based
Target Salary Range: $85,000 - $135,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications

The Role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about building quality software and eager to grow in a collaborative team environment. You'll work closely with our Product and QA teams to design, build, and maintain features that make our platform intuitive, powerful, and performant.

What You’ll Do

• Develop full stack features and enhancements using C# (.NET), Angular 15+, and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with team members to break down requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver working code in a steady, continuous flow.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and backlog refinement to keep work moving smoothly through the Kanban process.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to code reviews and learn from feedback provided by senior engineers.
• Work with QA to test features early and often, and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Document key workflows, decisions, and technical details for future maintainability.
• Take part in periodic security and performance reviews with mentorship from more experienced developers.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–5 years of experience developing web applications using:
  - C# / .NET
  - Angular 15+ (or equivalent front-end framework experience with willingness to learn Angular)
  - SQL Server or other relational databases
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD, Agile/Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and follow through to completion.
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with SaaS or cloud-based platforms.
• Exposure to automated testing practices or tools.
• Understanding of basic performance tuning and security concepts.
