As a Solutions Engineer, you will operate as a ChurnZero subject matter expert by proactively advising customers on deeper platform adoption based on ChurnZero and industry best practices. You’ll act as a short-term advisor for configuring native integrations and platform features, while partnering with CSMs and customer CS/Operations teams to deliver sustained value.You’ll manage projects, customer engagements, and timelines while guiding customers toward full feature adoption and successful renewals. You may also support customers through Professional Services engagements, providing ongoing advisory support.

Job Title: Solutions Engineer
Classification: Exempt
Reports to: Senior Director, Customer Support
Location: Remote, US-based
Target Salary Range: $75,000 to $95,000 annual base salary, $85k-$110k OTE

Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with customers and prospects through proactive engagement and communication
• Conduct proactive solutions reviews and identify optimization opportunities within the platform
• Maintain deep knowledge of ChurnZero integrations, features, and database structures; troubleshoot using SQL and creative problem-solving
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communication
• Translate technical requirements clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Scope and plan projects effectively, balancing multiple priorities and timelines
• Provide best practices and translate customer needs into scalable ChurnZero workflows
• Document customer goals and progress using internal systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with CSMs, Sales Engineers, Support, and Data teams
• Contribute product and process feedback to improve the platform and customer experience

Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in SaaS Customer Success, Implementation, Onboarding, or Account Management
• Experience with APIs and/or JavaScript
• Working knowledge of SQL and software integrations
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a track record of sound decision-making
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
• Ability to scope projects and anticipate roadblocks
• High ownership, autonomy, and customer-first mindset
• Energetic, self-motivated, and collaborative problem solver
• Strong aptitude for learning software and explaining complex data relationships in simple terms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professionalism in customer interactions
• Working knowledge of Salesforce/CRM database structures
